United Tools Mates Competition Rules 1. By entering this competition, you release Facebook and United Tools of any responsibility or liability, and acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered, or associated with, Facebook. 2. To enter the competition, you must provide your personal information and submit them by clicking ‘submit’. You must also sign up a ‘mate’ and ensure they have provided their personal information. 3. There are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available. 4. United Tools does not take any responsibility for the prize or the winner’s actions with it once awarded. 5. Winners agree to publicity and to be named and photographed on United Tools’ social media channels and website. 6. Winners will be contacted by a United Tools marketing representative and must claim their prize within 24 hours. 7. The prize is a pack of tools provided to United Tools. 8. United Tools is not responsible for travel, accommodation, food or any other costs other than the prize itself. Collection of Information 9. The Promoter collects personal information (PI) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy. 10. The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the Competition, an entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy 11. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose personal information to entities outside of Australia including in New Zealand and the United States of America. Media + Marketing 12. A prize winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner’s name, voice, image and likeness for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without further reference, payment or other compensation to the winner. 13. Each entrant also consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. Competition Closing Date 14. The competition will close at June 30, 2018 at 11.59pm AEST. 15. The Prize will be randomly drawn by a United Tools marketing representative. Eligibility 16. This contest is open to residents of Australia who must be 18 years of age or older. One Facebook account per user. The user must enter using the Facebook sign up form provided AND enter a friend. Both users details must be collected for them to be eligible. United Tools employees are not eligible to enter.
