How is the United Tools Group set up?

Our shareholders are our members, we are a group run by members for the members. The board is made up of 4 group members taking on the roles of Chairman, Secretary and two general board members. Each of our board members are store owners with a plethora of knowledge and experience to bring to the table. We are the only true independent buying group that is run by our members!

The United Tools Group have spent years building strong relationships with suppliers. With our big group buying power we gain access to the latest releases across premium quality tools and trade-related equipment at the lowest possible prices – that’s our promise to you.

We are proud to say that we have close working relationships with all of our trading partners, we are able to leverage great deals for our members and negotiate very strong sales rebates. As well as access to marketing and product material, keeping your databases filled with accurate and up to date information at all times.

  • Rebate Management
    Our Support Office will manage all the intricacies of the rebate structure, it is our job to ensure that each member receives what they’re owed from our network of suppliers. This can be a tricky and time-consuming task for each independent to manage, so we take on that role so that they can focus on running the business. We take the hard work out of the process.
  • Sales Rebates
    We guarantee that you’ll receive all your sales rebates returned to you without any deduction of fees from our team. Our group run an upfront fee structure that entitles you to receive every dollar you earn with no hidden costs; we find that this is another key point for how we differ from our competition.
  • Volume Rebates
    You’ll gain access to discounts on bulk purchasing through our volume rebates, our group work to ensure you receive the very best collated buy offers, special offers and MOQ’s.     There is a selection of suppliers who offer individual growth rebates and others who operate on the growth of the group. Members have access to Long Term Incentive Rebates which are set to maximise each member’s rebate potential, we implement the most achievable and mutually beneficial targets for optimal success.

We want each of our members to succeed and we feel the best way to do that is to share the data we collect, you’ll have access to purchase summaries, sales and marketing data and a portal that showcases supplier information, high- and low-resolution images for print and websites, access to working files, catalogues and much more.

The United Tools Group is run as a co-operative whose focus is to act in the best interest of our group members. On an annual basis, you’ll see the United Tools Group go through both a financial and company audit, this is done by an external independent auditor. Members gain access to the data collected from this audit at the AGM which we host each year.

Our company strategy is quite simple, as a group, we are leveraging on the strength of being independent, agile businesses, our main goal is to become the best damn buying and marketing group we can be.

How do you become a member?

If you’d like to become a member, the first step is to reach out and make contact with the team. Over the years we have managed to streamline the process, therefore making it as simple and pain-free as possible. Our staff look after most of the paperwork so you’re able to prepare your team, while we finalise the process. As a thank you for joining the group, we cover the legal costs of becoming a United Tools member, we want nothing more than to make this process easy for all parties involved.
